Founded near Leeds, Yorkshire, we began as a small, ambitious venture aimed at filling the gap in specialist logistics services. From transporting specialist machinery and equipment to managing the installation of delicate art pieces, the company has grown significantly. We now boast a diverse fleet and a close-knit team of 21 experienced operators. Our history is a testament to our dedication to providing outstanding service and building strong, personal relationships with our clients, treating every project with the care and attention it deserves.
About the director: Paul Wood
Paul Wood co-founded Wood Logistics & Lifting Ltd with his brother Darren, combining strategic oversight with a practical, grounded approach to logistics. While Darren remains actively involved in the business, Paul now leads as Director, continuing to drive the company forward with a clear vision and commitment to excellence.
The business remains rooted in the brothers’ shared values of hard work, community involvement, and high standards.
